The Birth of a Child
is Truly a Miracle

Another miracle is a newborn's birth tissue - the placenta, umbilicord and amniotic fluid. While your baby is in the womb, this tissue provides nourishment and protection up to the moment of birth.

It also has the power to restore and save lives after birth.

The Gift of Healing

Birth tissue contains a special combination of cells which are highly unique. They are routinely used in ocular and dental surgical procedures, the treatment of diabetic foot and leg ulcers, and combined with skin grafts to treat burn victims.

Make a Difference in Someone's Life

Donation of your baby's amniotic fluid, placenta and umbilical cord can heal, improve and extend the life of many others. All from tissue that is normally discarded as medical waste.

Healing

The decision to donate your placenta, umbilical cord and amniotic fluid can have a dramatic impact on people's lives. Consider the healing power of these amazing tissues.

Placenta

The placental membrane can be made into grafts to treat burn victims and people with difficult-to-heal wounds such as diabetic foot and leg ulcers.

Umbilical Cord

The umbilical cord membrane can be used to treat peripheral nerve injuries, be made into absorbable soft tissue coverings, and has properties that help control inflammation and decrease scarring.

Amniotic Fluid

Amniotic fluid can be used to treat inflammatory conditions such as osteoarthritis, and help repair certain tissues damaged by trauma, disease, or aging.

Donation

Stem Cell Life Connect partners with expectant mothers, their obstetricians, and delivery hospitals as part of the donation process. This process begins in the privacy of your doctor's office, where you will be offered the option to donate your birth tissue.

The requirements are simple. A donor must:

Read and sign a consent form

Complete a medical and social history questionnaire

Allow blood to be drawn (at the hospital before delivery)

Permit us to review, copy, and retain your pre-natal and post-natal delivery records

The medical history questionnaire and your medical records will help determine whether you are eligible for donation. Your information and medical records are strictly confidential and accessed only by trained, authorized personnel working in a secure environment.

The collection of birth tissue will not affect you or your baby. Our program is designed to integrate seamlessly with the hospital's work flow.

If you have not been given the option to donate by your doctor's office but would like to, please call us at 1 844 318 6736 or send an email to info@stemcellifeconnect.com.

We would be thrilled to get help you get started.
